Gimpo has two staffed places to leave a bag, and the airport runs neither of them. Zimcarry has a counter on the first floor of the domestic terminal, and Seoul Metro’s T-luggage has one in the Line 5 subway station underneath. Which one suits you depends mostly on the clock.

Where is luggage storage at Gimpo airport?

These are the two counters that appear on their operators’ own pages, read on 9 October 2026. By their addresses, one inside a terminal entrance and one in the subway station, both sit outside security, so you need no boarding pass.

Zimcarry is a private luggage company whose store list also has counters at Incheon, Gimhae, Jeju, Cheongju and Daegu airports. T-luggage was launched by Seoul Metro and is run by its engineering subsidiary, Seoul Urban Railway Engineering. T-luggage’s booking page describes the same counter as being towards the ticket gates on B1.

Gimpo has two staffed luggage counters, not one

Zimcarry’s counter in the domestic terminal is the one that opens early. It starts at 05:00, an hour before Gimpo’s overnight flight curfew ends at 6 am, and it publishes fixed prices by bag size with a daily cap. The T-luggage counter in the station opens four hours later.

The two close an hour apart, Zimcarry at 21:00 and T-luggage at 22:00, and Gimpo’s flights run until its 11 pm curfew, explained on the Gimpo opening hours page. So a bag left in the morning for a late flight has to be collected before 22:00 at the latest, and someone landing in Gimpo’s last hour before the curfew will find both counters shut.

The airport’s own site sends you to Zimcarry for something else. The Korea Airports Corporation’s Gimpo home page links its domestic arrival baggage delivery service to Zimcarry’s Airpass, which collects a checked bag from the baggage claim and delivers it to your accommodation. Zimcarry lists Gimpo, Gimhae, Daegu, Gwangju and Cheongju as departure airports for it, takes bookings until one minute to midnight the day before the flight, and charges from 15,000 won a bag.

How much is luggage storage at Gimpo airport?

At Zimcarry’s domestic terminal counter, a suitcase costs 5,000 won to 10,000 won for the first four hours, depending on the length of its longest side. Each hour after that is extra, and a daily maximum stops the meter.

Suitcase, longest sideFirst 4 hours, then per hourMost in one day
Up to 55 cm5,000 won, then 1,000 won10,000 won
56 to 70 cm8,000 won, then 2,000 won18,000 won
71 cm and over10,000 won, then 2,000 won20,000 won

Zimcarry prices soft bags lower: a bag up to 45 cm costs 3,000 won for four hours and 8,000 won at most for the day. A coat costs 3,000 won to store, or 10,000 won for four coats. A 56 to 70 cm suitcase left for eight hours comes to 16,000 won , still under that size’s 18,000 won daily cap.

T-luggage measures in inches and charges more at weekends. Its prices start at these figures for four hours, then 1,000 won an hour.

Case sizeWeekday, 4 hoursWeekend, 4 hours
Up to 20 inches3,000 won4,000 won
20 to 23 inches4,000 won6,000 won
23 to 27 inches6,000 won9,000 won
Over 27 inches9,000 won13,000 won

T-luggage writes every price as a starting figure, and its booking page says pricing can change by location, naming Gimpo Airport among them. On the Korean page the largest size’s weekend rate is labelled “large”, so read that row by its inch range. So treat the T-luggage table as the floor, not the Gimpo price, and check the total on the booking page before you hand over the bag. At those starting rates, a 23 to 27 inch case for eight hours on a weekday is 10,000 won .

Is there luggage storage in Gimpo’s international terminal?

No staffed counter inside Gimpo’s international terminal appears on any operator’s page read for this article. Zimcarry’s store list has one Gimpo entry, the domestic terminal, while it lists a separate international counter at Gimhae. The nearest counter to international arrivals is T-luggage, in the station on the international terminal side.

The airport’s own answer is missing. The Korea Airports Corporation’s facility search for Gimpo loads its listings as an app and returned no listing text, so it could not confirm or rule out a counter, a locker bank or a desk in the international terminal. Treat any international terminal storage you read about elsewhere as unconfirmed, and plan around the two counters above.

Can you book Gimpo airport luggage storage?

Both counters take bookings online, and T-luggage’s terms make the booking binding. A cancellation more than three days before the storage date is refunded in full, one between one and three days before gets 50% back, and one on the day gets nothing. The Korean terms put the day before in both of the last two bands, so treat a cancellation the day before as non-refundable.

Read T-luggage’s refused list before you pack the bag you are leaving. It turns away laptops and personal computers, phones, tablets and digital cameras, along with cash, jewellery, perishables and documents that cannot be replaced. Its liability for a lost or damaged bag is capped at 500,000 won, and a bag left 30 days past its end date may be thrown away.

Luggage storage near Gimpo airport, or sent to your hotel

If what you want is no bag at all, Zimcarry’s domestic terminal counter also delivers. A bag handed in between 05:00 and 14:00 reaches the accommodation from 16:00, and a suitcase starts at 20,000 won. Going the other way, a bag dropped at the hotel by 11:00 can be collected at the Gimpo counter from 15:00 to 20:50.

For a stop in the city first, Zimcarry also runs counters at Hongik University station, open 09:00 to 21:50, and Seoul Station, open 08:00 to 21:50. Both are on the train from Gimpo, set out on the Gimpo airport to Seoul page.

What is not checked here

Zimcarry’s counter, prices and delivery times come from its Gimpo domestic counter page and its store list. T-luggage’s prices, counter and terms come from its home and booking pages. The Airpass link comes from the Korea Airports Corporation’s Gimpo home page. All were read on 9 October 2026.

The airport’s facility search returned no text, so coin lockers in either terminal, any international terminal counter and any free desk at the shopping mall beside the airport were not confirmed. Zimcarry’s page does not say what it refuses or what it pays for a lost bag. One Korean article still found in searches announces a different Gimpo luggage service, Zimzom-Air, starting on 15 July 2016. Nothing read here says it still runs, so treat that article as a 2016 notice, not a current option.

If a counter moves, changes its prices or opens in the international terminal, tell me and this page will say so with a date.
