What this site collects directly

Nothing. There are no accounts, no comment forms and no newsletter signup. This site is a set of static files; it does not run a database and does not ask you for personal information.

Hosting

Pages are served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard server request data such as IP address and user agent in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Advertising

No advertising is being served at the time of writing. This section describes what happens if and when it is, so that the policy is in place before anything changes rather than after.

This site may display ads served by Google, including through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before any advertising or measurement cookies are set, through a consent management platform, and personalised advertising will not run without it. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the same prompt.

Google account data, and why none of it is yours

Planning which questions to answer is done with a command-line tool called Keyword CPC Reader, run on the operator's own laptop. It signs in through Google OAuth to a single Google account, the operator's, and holds one permission: read access to Google Ads (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords).

That permission is used to read search volume and advertiser bid ranges for keywords this site already covers. It creates, changes and deletes nothing in the account. It cannot reach any account other than the operator's, and it is never offered to anyone else to sign in to. Its output is a file on that laptop, read by the person who ran it.

No visitor's Google account is read, requested or accessed at any point. There is no sign-in on this site. Nothing returned by that tool is published here, sold, or shared with anyone. The credentials it uses are stored in a single local file and are not backed up to any external service.

Your rights
